The Wirral Flower and Vegetable Show, WFAVS, is an annual event hosted by a local community group with our own resources. The show is a success and to date has had yearly increases in attendance. The Wirral Flower and Vegetable Show is now very much a part of the Wirral calendar. Among the show’s attractions is a popular plant sale of garden flowering varieties together with vegetables for growing on, with the source plants drawn mainly from WFAVS group members gardens although all donations of plants/vegetables for growing on are always welcome.

There is a growing demand from visitors to the show for vegetable varieties as many people now wish to try growing their own, whether in window boxes through to allotment sites.
